1. What Kinetic Collects

When you create a Kinetic account, we collect:

  • Your business name, contact details, and the information you provide during onboarding
  • Your business owner's name, phone number, and email address
  • Messages your customers send through connected platforms (WhatsApp, Telegram, web chat, SMS, USSD)
  • Usage data about how you and your customers interact with Kinetic
  • Business artifacts you upload (documents, price lists, PDFs, spreadsheets)

2. Why We Collect It

We use your data to operate your business assistant — replying to customer messages, finding leads, sending compliance reminders, and providing the services you've signed up for. We do not use your business data to train AI models that benefit other businesses.

3. Who It's Shared With

Your data stays within Kinetic by default. Data only flows to a third-party tool (e.g., an accounting package, CRM, or messaging platform) if you — the business owner — have explicitly connected it, and only the data needed for that connection is shared. We never sell your data.

When you connect platforms like WhatsApp or Telegram, those platforms' own privacy policies also apply to messages sent through them.

4. Where Data Is Stored and for How Long

Your data is stored on secure servers. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel, your data is deleted within 90 days. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

5. Your Rights

You can access, export, or request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. We'll respond within 30 days as required by the Zambian Data Protection Act No. 3 of 2021.

6. Your Customers' Privacy

When your customers message your business on WhatsApp, Telegram, or web chat, they are interacting with an AI assistant powered by Kinetic. We recommend you inform your customers that messages may be handled by an automated assistant. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consents from your customers.

8. Governing Law
